General details
Type B consists of bars in full height in the span direction (bearing bars), and bars of a lower and varying height at right angles to these bearing bars (known as filler and control bars). This design ensures a structure which is both light and strong.
Applications for type B Type B is our standard type. This construction is used for the majority of our standard gratings, e.g. step gratings, scraper gratings, industrial gratings and heavy duty gratings.  Gratings for wheeled traffic |
